The work runs in the background on your server; a closed browser tab does not stop it, and failed items are retried. Translate again and only the fields you changed are sent to the AI; the rest is kept. Tick Force re-translation to redo everything, or only the fields you select, for example after changing your instructions. The status column in the post list shows which translations are out of date.
